I am trying to sell my equipment (VX6000, 2 months old, with car charger and leather case)

Anyone interested!!!!!!!!!!!

a quick look on ebay suggests that you should be able to sell it for around $140 with those extras.

Anyone who buys a phone off eBay is a complete moron. I guess there is a sucker born every minute.

Verizon's website is selling the VX6100 for $99.00, and the VX7000 for $149.00.

that's with a contract.
without the contract it's a lot more than that

also if you sell on ebay, you'll have Ebay Fees and depending on what type of payment you get, you'll be hit up with paypal fees, if you're a paypal premier member.

That is with a year or two year contract. Some poeple already have the service and just want to upgrade their phone. It is cheaper to get a used phone somewhere else, than to get a new one from Verizon. Or they might want a new phone, but not a new contract. Hiw phone at $140.00 is cheaper than getting the phone for $99.00 and having to pay for an entire new year or two contract.

:)

Hmmm, ok, maybe I'm wrong about buying phones off eBay, but you still get a $100 credit towards a new phone with Verizon even if you don't have the "New every 2" plan. In my area, Verizon has the best service, so even if I had to sign another contract for two more years, so be it, don't plan on changing anytime soon anyway.
