i would say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

i suppose you could lower the MaxClients, but i don't see that it would help a whole lot. in general, i would say that the apapche group thought long and hard about what a decent default value would be for the 90% of users that never change the values

ya but that setting has been there probably for 5 10 years, when it was on 66mhz, and now with my 2.4ghz maybe i can handle more? i dunno
