Let's get a few things straight here... BB's policy is that if the computer "breaks" within the first 14 days (normal return policy) to simply exchange the product. However, one's ISP not working is not BB's or the computer manufacturer's fault unless it can be conclusively proven to be so. If BB's technicians can reproduce the error the man was talking about and determine it to be a manufacturing defect, the computer will be replaced without question. If, however, the error cannot be reproduced why should the computer be exchanged? Let's think about this for a second: an old man brings his computer in because "it crashed". We all know how well old people fare with technology...
I'm sorry you have a grudge against BB. I don't much like them myself but I'm not on a holy crusade to discredit them...
BTW, yes, I am a technician at BB and if you would have "chucked the computer at me" I would have jumped over the counter and beat the sh*t out of you. You have no idea what kind of sh*t technicians have to deal with all day long because of stupid BB policies and ignorant customers who feel they have to take their anger out on the person who's trying to help them.
