Take the hard drive out of the second one, and back up your data on the first one. Get that machine up and running. Copy your data back over, and then start to work on the second one, first by taking the kb from the first one, and seeing if that works.

And then go from there....

I managed to take the hard drive from my PC and back it up on my brothers PC. However, once I took my hard drive back to my PC and reinserted it back into my computer and tried to install windows: I could NOT "press any key to boot from CD".

Also, on my brothers PC upon reinserting a DIFFERENT Windows CD, I could NOT "press any key to boot from CD".

Whats up??
