Delete printer port

Because I wanted to convert doc to pdf. I downloaded a silly program named Go2PDF which put in my printer ports a port with name virprnt and also has duplicated the other ports. So I have two LPT1 ports two FILE ports etc. I want to delete these ports. I have Windows XP Pro SP2. I went to printer and faxes right-click->server properties->ports->delete port and the OS responed "Selected port cannot be deleted. The request is not supported." Although I have admin rights. What to do?
Thanks🙂

Did you try and delete the actual program, Go2PDF, thru your control panel? Maybe that will take the out of the printer area. Just an idea.

It doesn't has an entry to Add/Remove in Control Panel.
But I have deleted the virtual printer that created. The problem is not only this port but also that are duplicates of the other ports.

Thank you🙂

I have finally found the solution. Through registry I found the entry in the print server and I delete it. Then I found the virport.dll and I delete it also. The duplicates dissappeared. I want know one confirmation. My motherboard has one serial port and one parallel port but the print server shows LPT2...4 and COM1...4. Is that normal?

Thank you.🙂
