Delete one url?

Can you delete one url from your drop down menu without deleting the history file? I know you can selective delete from your history file BUT I don't know how to remove the unwanted url from the dropdown menu. thanks

have u been lookin at pR0n? 😉

hehe neways it's in HKCU\software\microsoft\internet explorer\typedurls

(hkcu is HKEY_CURRENT_USER)

delete the one you want... it should work.

Hi, I've also been wondering about that.

Potz: I'v never edited my registry before, but after collapsing the HKEY_CURRENT_USER tree, I'm not able to find anything called HKCU. DOes anything preceed it ? There's a bunch of choices, but again nothing remotely resembling HKCU.

Thanks in advance.

P.s heehee pr0n 😀

HKCU is hkey_current_user.
so you want to expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then software, microshaft, internet explorer, and finally typedurls.

don't bother with all this registry crap. admit it, you're a major pr0n hound, just go to properties and delete files and clear history. 🙂
simpler than removing one by one, it's gonna take you a long time to remove your thousands of questionable links. bad pr0n boy bad... 😀😛

in that case, consider using a guest account in windows 2000... the whole profile gets deleted when you log out.
