I've got an old computer just upgraded to Win XP from Win NT. During the cleanup, I noticed a file couldn't be deleted. It is a temporary internet file (named abcnews.go[1].) with 0 byte length. Anytime I try to delete it, copy it, open it, rename it, etc I get the message:
"Cannot read from the source file or disk".
I thoroughly scanned the disk twice and it finds nothing. I tried to defragment the drive for the first time ever (Win NT didn't have a defragmenter) and it aborts whenever it hits that file. Any ideas on what to do with the thing?
