What i'm looking for is a easy way to delete a SINGLE url from the drop down address box in IE. I know you can get rid of them from the registry, but I have a novice user here that has asked me if there is a way and I don't want to suggest them getting in the reg.

Is there a easy key press to do that I don't know about? Like Ctrl+del+stand-on-one-foot?

Thanks for any insight.

Anything that deletes the entire History is not an option.

Well.. Ctrl-Shift-Del works in FF... although I'm sure that isn't going to help you.

*shakes head*

If someone is worried enough about his/her spouse cheating, there probably isn't enough trust in the relationship to bother with in the first place. But that is grossly OT for this thread..

Yeah, it's WAY OT, but thanks for the help anyway. But i guess it serves me right for putting detials that did not matter.

Tell them to stop surfing porn on their parents computer... :)

Only way I know of is through the registry man... If you have any VB experiance you could write a small app that would bring up that hive and let you delete and stuff... would probably be pretty easy to write, and quick... there's nothing too it...

I'm sure you are right about it being easy, but I don't have any real VB experience other than just playing around with if for a hour or two. Oh well...
