Delayed Write Fail

I'm having a problem with Delayed Write Fails in Win XP. I have reformatted and reinstalled Windows, but I'm still getting the errors and they're getting more frequent. about two hours ago I got a delayed write fail in the boot sector. Now windows won't boot at all. Any help would be appreciated.

I've never encountered that error, but it sounds to me like you should be making sure you have a backup of your HD. I'd wager it fails awfully soon

I second the "your hard drive is dying" motion

If not the hard drive, check the RAM.

I had that problem when I went from a gf4 Ti4400 to a ATI 9700Pro. Using the gforce, I had my memory usage set to system cache.... Using the same setting with the ATI card produced error exactly as you describe.
My solution was easy, all I did was go back to the default of memory usage to programs, and all was ok, haven't seen that nasty little booger since.....
