I got a Samsung Galaxy S4 about three weeks ago. From the start I was having issues with receiving text messages long after they had been sent. Eventually I figured out that people were calling me and it wasn't showing up on my phone, until a few hours later when I would see that I had 3 missed calls. I went to the AT&T store and they replaced the SIM card -- no change. A couple days later I go in and they replace the phone completely. No change. I come back again and they take the battery out of my phone then call the "backend" of their tech support and reset something to do with my account. They were very vague in their explanation.
After resetting my account, the problem still wasn't fixed, so I switched to an HTC One. I'm still having the issue, so I'm pretty sure there is an issue with receipt of text messages and phone calls at my house. The thing is that none of my roommates have said anything about the issue, and I had zero problems of this sort when I had my iPhone up until three weeks ago. Any ideas? I've already checked the settings of my text messages, it's set to retrieve messages and everything else seems in order. Thanks for your help.
