Pretty clueless, this isn't 1990.I had no problem getting into college while white
i had no problem getting a degree while white
i never had any trouble getting good jobs and staying employed while white
I’m in my upper 50's now, and i can’t think of any single time in my life that being white was anything but an advantage
if you think your problems are caused by ‘DEI’, you’re just a friggin loser, that is all
The problem with DEI isn't just that better candidates are missing out on job opportunities, it's also that we're stuck with dumbasses that shouldn't have the jobs they do. That impacts you too.
Calling people losers with a justification of what your mind invents to stereotype people, suggests more than anything that you don't think logically. It should always be about the most qualified candidate for the job and if you don't GET that, you're part of the problem.
Your massive SAMPLE SIZE OF ONE only tells me that your head is in the sand. It doesn't matter if what you stated is true 90% of the time - it matters to the other 10% of people too, and that includes someone who was most qualified but not white, losing the position because some other minority applicant was first to hit the DEI checkbox in the hiring process.
I believe in equal opportunity to compete for jobs based on the skills relevant to that job.
