So, an old flame of a friend of mine threw a birthday party for him at her home in Arden, DE Saturday night. Arden is uniquely cool community in and of itself.
Anyway, Lorna, my friend Tom's old flame, is now married to Ken. Ken was showing us a couple of cool videos done by his sister, Flash. Flash Rosenberg, hey, I'd heard her name before, from pieces she'd had on NPR.
Anyway, she's now the artist in residence at the New York Public Library.
The first vid he showed us was one she created when Keith Richards visited. No, she doesn't draw that fast.
The other vid he shared was a PSA about the challenge of puberty. CAUTION, contains cartoon penises!
Ken himself was "full drum kit and studio in the living room" cool.
Another attendee went to my alma mater, Swarthmore, so we spent 20 minutes talking about profs and dorms and such until we finally stfu.
A good time was had by all. :biggrin:
