that tell u how to strip all the useless cr@p (i.e. msn messagner) & other program.

to strip the "useless crap" download and install SP1a and go to the "Access Programs and Defaults" tab under the "Add/Remove Programs" Icon in the start menu. It will allow you to remove the microsoft items that you don't want with very little hassle involved...

So far as I know, this does not actually remove anything. It simply sets up other programs to be used for the items you select. There is no definitive install guide like this because AFAIK there is no way to remove these things at install. You have to get rid of them afterwards. For MSN Messenger, for example, I found the easiest thing to do, was to insure it was not running and rename the folder. I have no further problem with that POS. You can also search Google for which services are safe to disable. Maximum PC just had a fairly good article on which services you can get rid of, along with fair descriptions of what can be done, or not, and why.
