You're jumping for joy that you can pass an upper division math class at a top tier university without doing any work whatsoever for it for the last 5/10 weeks, score a 43% on a final..and still manage to beat out 10 other people in the class.

Wow, you get an F on the midterm and an F on the final, AND don't do 1/2 of the homework and you still pass?!

What the hell were the other kids in the class doing that scored worse than you?

You really should have done the homework though. Those are just free points, and would have probably gotten you an A or B+.

Nah, hw is only 10% of the grade..
 
sounds like every single one of my upper division courses (math major)

i didn't do anything and just showed up for exams but the class grades were so low that i did pretty well

Yay for the UC school system 😀
