Oh please Don, I get so tired of this totally BS argument....if one uses both condoms and birth control the risk of having a child is like .0000001% so don't give me this "There is no 100% safe and effective means" bull$hit...while it isn't 100% it is damn near close enough....all of the girls I have known who have had abortions did so because they were careless, they got loaded one night and banged some random dude without a condom and they were not on the pill...they were too lazy for condoms and didn't bother getting any, or they just didn't care....I am curious don if you personally knew anyone who had an abortion and know how they feel a few years afterwards?? I personally have known more than a few and honestly feel that if there were more regulations on them you would have more people who TOOK the time and cared about being protected instead of this "well I can just have an abortion" mentality I have seen far too often.

Interesting thinking CW. It's neat that you thought this out instead of listening to music or talk radio.

I'm into the same thing; using my time in the car for thought vs. consuming someone else's.

Good work!!

It would be for more effective to esecute the male in any of those cases. A few thousand executions a week and I'm sure the abortion problem would taper right off.

I would like to clone myself, but use a drug to retard the brain to a vegetable/coma level so so I can harvest the organs when I get old. I think that would be ok and I would like the ograns thank you very much.

Yeah, but I am glad it was bumped. Interesting stuff in here. I feel like I fell off AT P&N and somehow landed in the house of Sai Baba.

And it is Good.

I've often wondered "why is murder illegal?"

Is it because we as a society believe killing is wrong? Well thats what most of us say. But is it why we really came to this point? I dont think so. I think most people are selfish and only agree not to kill as a compromise, if society all agrees that killing is wrong, each of us is less likely to get killed, whew, we are all safe. But if killing is so wrong, why are we so ok with hunting, fishing, eating meat, eggs, etc? The whole "killing is wrong" idea is now only restricted to humans. The selfishness shines through "Well I'm not an animal so I'm not worried" Then theres abortion, none of us who came to this social contract of "lets not kill eachother" are at all threatened by killing the unborn, since after all, we have all been born already, so we are clear of any danger.

I guess im just still stuck on the irony of it all. Every time a newborn turns up in a dumpster its front page news and the whole country is in shock. But had the kid been killed a few weeks earlier, its a-ok.

You started off reasonably but had to finish with a nice little troll, didn't ya.

If the kid had been killed weeks before birth it would not have been okay UNLESS the mother's life was in danger.

why does it have to be a troll? Why cant you just debate it rather than attack it? If you dont want to, or are incapable of doing so, then dont post anything.

I called it a troll then I debated it and showed you your last stament was bogus. I might have been too quick to call it a troll though...

I don't know when life starts, but I think sex starts when the nipple makes it's appearance.

we could just save the time and just shoot them as they come out. it'd be easier on everyone except the mother. abortion is great for the kid, he will never go through that moment when he realizes about everything his parents have told him is a lie. (god and the tooth fairy)
