'Definitely' and 'too' are real words

'Too' is a real word. It means 'also'.
Incorrect: "I went from there too there." (I went from there also there?)
Correct: "You went there too?" (You went there also?)
'Definitely' is a real word. It means 'certainly'.
Definately is not a real word, and that's probably what you're being corrected on part of the time.
Complain about people being grammar nazis on the internet all you want, but trying to assert incorrect usage is correct is dumb.
