Hmm... They used to call those people "goths" when I was in high school. Are there any differences that I'm missing?

goths are more about big baggy black clothes, and vampire like stuff (if you know what im trying to describe)

emo, is a bunch of little kids from the burbs that pretend to have problems in order to seem "deep" and full of meaning

Goth = insecure, social outcast, hates society, were's nothing but black, thinks blood and killing things is fun.

Emo Goth = above + wrist slicing, knife/gun toating, wishes to kill self in some meaningful way (i.e. killing a bunch of his/her "enemies" (who are actually innocent people) and then killing him/herself, thus fulfilling some perverse "blaze of glory" idea)

Edit: I used to be like these people a few years ago, but then I realized I was an insecure pompous negative ass who just had no social skills and expected society to conform to me. (My life has sense changed, and I have little if anything in common with these people now) Most goths don't want to hurt people, they simply want society to accept them for some reason or other. When society doesn't, they, in their pomposity, reject it and think they are better than society. Those that truly reject society become emo. However, they seem to somehow get it into their heads that society rejected them, and not the other way around. Thus they see society as an "enemy" that they cannot beat. Hence Columbine.
