Defective Speakers

How do I hook up my stereo system to my computer, so that I don't have to buy a new set of speakers.
Pls advice.

You want to plug your sound card into your receiver? Just get a cable that has 1/8" stereo on one end and RCA plugs on the other.

no it's not a receiver.it is just a normal little stereo system.

Do you have any kind of other input?

if you don'th ave aux input on your boombox, your only way is if you use a cassette adaptor, thats of couse assuming its a cassette boombox, if not, you can use a FM transmitter. neither of them more than 20 bucks.
