Default View in Win Explorer

How can I make Windows Explorer set to "Details" for view? I hate looking at these as an icon. I was able to set a specific folder to that setting, but once you browse through the sub-directories and other directories, it defaults to 'small icons' or something else.

What operating system are you using?
If its W2K then you just set up a folder view exactly like you want all the others then go to tools>folder options>view>make all like current.
