Try leaving it blank (that works with my D-Link)

Or admin/admin (that works with some other devices I have)

For future reference, every major electronics manufacturer offers their product manuals online, for free. Search their website.

Women :p

I asked her to open CMD and type in ?ipconfig /all? to get the dhcp address, and then open IE and access the router with that address.

I told her to put two forward slashes before the address. She was putting back slashes. Never mind.

Apparently no login box popped up :S

Ohh well she?s setting up WAP now, so all is good.

Thanks anyway guys :)

That kind of stupidity is unbearable sometimes. People use the Internet every day and still mix up backslash and forward slash?

LOL. She originally said that she needed help setting up the security, so i offered to help. She explained to me that when she did actually look at the manual (which she doesn?t have now) it looked as if she needed to load up the belkin website to set-up the security.

I was like, WTF no you don?t, lol.

She was obviously confused because the Belkin config consol is web based.
