Jake Sisko: Dad, just because you suffered through all that doesn't mean I should!
Commander Sisko: *Smirk* Yes. It does. *Grin*

Odo and Troi are trapped in a turbolift together
Lxawana Troi: *Yak, yak, yak* Odo, are you listening to me?
Odo: MMM? Oh, I was just wondering how much voltage was in those lines

Odo: Come along Quark, time to evacuate
Quark: I'm not going anywhere, this is my bar and I'm going to defend it! *Holds up a box* This is my old phaser, the one I used to carry when I served on the Ferengi freighter.
Odo: I thought you were the ship's cook?
Quark: Thats right, and the captain thought he was a food critic. If the Klingon's want in here, they'll need to get past this! *Opens box to reveal a single slip of paper*
Odo: *Snatches paper and reads* 'Dear Quark, used parts from your disruptor to fix the replicators, will return them soon. Rom'
Quark: I will kill him!
Odo: *Smirk* With what?

Garak deserves note for sure.

Dr. Julian Bashir: Out of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?
Elim Garak: My dear Doctor, they're all true.
Dr. Julian Bashir: Even the lies?
Elim Garak: Especially the lies.

DS9 is my favorite of the Trek series. There was some really good moments throughout. I rewatched them all last year after borrowing the DVD's, I really forgot how not great some episodes in the first few seasons were and how much and how fast it picks up.

Nog: A guidebook?
Chief O'Brien: It's not just a guidebook. It's a completely interactive program detailing Earth's customs, culture, history, geography...
Doctor Bashir: Everything you ever wanted to know about Earth is right there in that PADD.
Nog: You mean it'll teach me how to attract Human females?
Chief O'Brien: Well - almost everything.

and some really interesting lines you wouldn't expect from Star Trek (or at least didn't at the time)

Sisko : People are dying out there, every day! Entire worlds are struggling for their freedom. And here I am, still worrying about the finer points of morality.
(later on)
Sisko: So... I lied. I cheated. I bribed men to cover the crimes of other men. I am an accessory to murder. But the most damning thing of all... I think I can live with it. And if I had to do it all over again - I would.

If you haven't watched all of DS9 then you can't possibly say B5 is better. Season 1 and 2 aren't very good just like every star trek series.

I've watched both and B5 is only good seasons 2 through 4...and it's not even that great. Season 5 shouldn't exist.

i've seen more than enough sci-fi to know B5 was the best, despite being screwed over by the tv networks.

yeah garak has some good ones

Garak: "Why is it no-one ever believes me, even when I'm telling the truth?"

Julian: "Have you ever heard the story of the boy who cried wolf?"

Garak: "No!"

Julian: "It's a children's story. A young shepard gets loney while tending his flock. He cries 'Wolf!' and the townspeople come rushing to his aid. When they discover there is no wolf, he claims he scared the wolf off, and they congratulate him for his bravery."

Garak: "What a clever boy!"

Julian: "There's more. The boy did the same thing the next day, and the day after, and the day after. And on the next day, when a wolf really did come, the townspeople didn't come. They'd gotten tired of his lying. The wolf ate all the sheep and the little boy."

Garak: "Isn't that a bit gruesome for a children's story?"

Julian: "The moral is that if you lie all the time, people won't believe you even if you're telling the truth."

Garak: "Are you sure that's the moral?"

Julian: "Of course. What else could it be?"

Garak, leaving: "Never tell the same lie twice."

A few quotes aside, DS9 was still incredibly boring for all but the last season. If I had script control for that show for just one day, I'd force them to make an episode where a black hole consumed Bajor, Cardassia Prime, DS9 and the wormhole (?) while everyone but Sisko and Quark were on it.

Voyager was worse, though. I couldn't bring myself to watch Enterprise to see how that was.

Ive never seen a single episode on tv, but would like to. Sure, they play re-runs of the original star trek, ST TNG, and Enterprise from time to time, but never DS9 or Voyager or even B5

First two seasons of Enterprise left a lot to be desired. Third season seems to be hit or miss still among people, but I think most would say it's worth at least watching and judging for yourself. Fourth season it actually got better and showed why a prequel show like that could have been interesting. It had a ways to go but of course it didn't get there.

I liked both DS9 and B5. I would probably say B5 was better overall, but DS9 was almost as good and had better individual episodes.
