iamwiz, it's not my fault that you can't read :) You can think that I like this type of music because it is popular, but I am afraid to inform you that you are incorrect. I DJ, so I have pretty much all of the type of music that a high schooler would request. Therefore, I choose to listen to what I listen to because it's what I like, and, as many, many of you forget, I like more than just pop, I also like dance, rap, r&b, even a little rock. So, you can think what you want, and you can think I have a "shallow life" based on the music that I like, and that's just too bad for you. You can just sit there and sulk because I proved you wrong.

i'm not sulking. I worked at Sam Goody when i was in High School. We had fun screwing with teenie boppers, such as yourself.

Also, eve6, third eye blind, three doors down, etc do not fall into the rock category, they are pop rock, totally different.

And you DJ, so what? you dont DJ, you put in music people like. Real DJs, as was mentioned earlier, have turn tables, etc. You listen to what MTV tells you to, and its funny.

BTW< Leif Garrett has a warrant out for his arrest. Look him up on the net to find out your future =].

Impression 1: Deeko has guts to present something he created and enjoys to this bunch of vultures.
Impression 2: Those who rag on him most (UnixFreak, Jalepeno) - where is something you have done? Do you have anything you can share with the world? Or shall you just hide behind the "I don't need to share my stuff with anyone" because you have NOTHING that you can create yourself?
Impression 3: Deeko has handled the flames and personal attacks very well - his level of maturity in this thread is far higher than many of the folks slamming him.
Impression 4: Making insinuations about a link between singing and homosexuality is offensive to both groups. You are pushing old stereotypes about both groups that I'm sure neither appreciate. Grow up.

Impression 5: Deeko's new single is pretty bad in its current form. And I hate that kind of pop boy-band crap anyway. But know this: Deeko, with his guts, maturity, risk-taking, and drive, as more of a future than the lot of you unimaginative dipwads put together.

Criticize his song. Thats fine and helpful. Rip on him for trying/make gay jokes/rag on his Volleyball playing?!?! What the hell is wrong with you people?

Deeko: Keep having fun, and keep ignoring the nay-sayers. What sucks now can be improved, as you have shown more drive and initiative than most people I know.

Since you specifically mentioned me, I would like to know how you are such an authority on my persona. I am now unimaginative (since you say so) and have nothing I can create myself. I wont even give you the credit enough to defend myself, as your words mean squat to me, and probably everyone else as well. Its awful nice of you to come and defend the little dweeb, very honorable, but get some info on people before making statements about them, or you yourself will look like an @ss. Its not like I am offended, I have pretty thick skin, unlike you or Deeko. But anyway, We know deeko is gay, deeko knows he's gay, he should just come out with it, and not be ashamed. Heck, it would do him a lot of good in the music industry. If he could catch the attention of the disney prefab music machine, they could run him through a synthesiser, and he could have a career. More power to him, I say. Lighten up, optimus, this is just a silly forum.

<< I don't need to share my stuff with anyone >>

Do you not see my nick "unixfreak", do you think maybe there is a possibility that I have anything to do with the Open source movement? If you dont know what that is, look it up.
at least my contributions aren't desperate attempts at getting girls (or guys, as the case may be).

Wow, I use CD's. Did it occur to anyone that I don't have the money to buy turntables?? It would cost me rougly $2000 to completely transfer over, and I just don't have that kind of money. You CAN still DJ with CDs, there is this little thing called 'beatmixing', and it can be done on turntables or CDs, and I garuntee that you guys can't do it. So go cry about it.

<< Also, eve6, third eye blind, three doors down, etc do not fall into the rock category, they are pop rock, totally different. >>

Are you serious??? Oh man, as a DJ, I don't know how to classify music, do I? No way...that's totally out of my league, thanks for clearing that up for me.

<< You listen to what MTV tells you to, and its funny. >>

Oh? My favorite group right now is ATC, and I have been listening to them long before the average person has heard of them. And you still don't see them on MTV very much, even though they have a fairly popular single.

<< Do you not see my nick "unixfreak", do you think maybe there is a possibility that I have anything to do with the Open source movement? If you dont know what that is, look it up. >>

Haha, go to a high school, and ask someone who they think is more likely to be gay, somone who listens to pop music, or someone who is involved in the unix open source movement......I have nothing against that, but still, you need to make some better points if you are trying to make yourself look better here.

For one thing, I wouldnt go to a high school to ask anyone anything, except for advice on acne cream, or wh@cking off. For two, you should have rephrased that, someone that, plays volleyball, and is a guy, who listens to teenybopper music, dresses all feminine, is all "sensitive" (we all know what that means) and is a wannabe boy band member, or someone who is involved in the open source movement. Besides, I am pretty sure there are gays involved in this (open source), so what? Am I slamming on gays here? no. A persons sexual preference has no effect on their ability to write code, so they are just as important. I am just saying that you are, you know you are, but you are in denial, when you would be way better off admitting it.

HAHAHAHHA now you say I'm gay cause I play volleyball....oh man that's good. Come to one of my practices and say that, and see what kind of reaction you get. You're funny cause you're ignorant. I don't care if they don't have boys volleyball where you live, they do most everywhere else. The guys that play are the last people you would think would be gay....and I know how "big and tough" you are, but anyone on my team could probably beat the crap out of you. And now you say I dress "feminine"....yea.....let's see, I wear mostly structure, which is among the best clothes that guys can wear....pretty feminine dude. And MUST I point out again the fact that I listen to other music? Do you consider Xzibit, Snoop, Dre, Nelly, or Jay-Z to be "teenie boppers"? I didn't think so. Now go away before you make yourself look like even more of an idiot.

<< Snoop, Dre, Nelly, or Jay-Z >>

Snoop and Dre sold out years ago
Nelly... oh yeah why not
Jay-z sux (some of his old stuff was good, but you see what kinda songs he makes these days)

again, you done nothing but to confirm what unixfreak said - listening to music MTV tells you to - even when it comes to hip-hop or rap.

optimus has a point tho, we done had enuff rippin on the poor guy, how about some 'constructive critism' on the song? i personally think it wreaked horribly. why didnt you make this a poll?

Just do what I do when I want something expensive: get a job and save your cash. Resist the urge to spend.

<< HAHAHAHHA now you say I'm gay cause I play volleyball....oh man that's good >>

Liking volleyball doesn't really make you gay, I like volleyball (just never wanted to play competetively.

Actually, neither Snoop nor Nelly gets heavy play on MTV. Maybe on DFX, but I never really watch that, so I don't know what kind of stuff they play. Dre and Jay-Z are pretty mainstream, but it's still good. I also listen to some Wu-Tang and Jurrasic 5, wanna tell me that they are mainstream MTV stuff?????

MONKEYS! THEY RULE!

hmm, lets see, you spend your money on structure... or i should say , you spend mommy and daddy's money at structure. that place is way too expensive for a 16yr old kid to afford on his own, no matter how much man-whoring he is doing. why not go to some place like say, Kohl's? they have quality stuff thats on sale saving your parents money. oh wait, saving money is probably taboo to you. gotta spend as much as possible on a pair of pants! probably would equate Kohls to what KMart was in the late 80s early 90s.... except there was a bigger reason than being a dork for not going there.

i love how each teen these days try to portray the biggest richest snootiest (yes snootiest) image they can simply to impress people that they wont be seeing ever again four years down the road.

isnt it past your bedtime deeko?

God damn man, so what? I buy a lot of my clothes there too - you gonna attack me now? I use my own fvcking money most of the time. I have yet to find clothes at Kohls that can fit me and look good on me as stuff in Structure does. If you catch stuff on sale it's not too bad - a pair of pants at Kohls is $22, what's wrong with spending $30 and getting something that looks nice?

So what is wrong with his (or mine) parents buying us clothes every now and then. Are we supposed to be working full time and self supportive as teenagers? No. I'm sorry you are bothered by the fact that he gets clothes there, as do I, but you don't need to attack him because his parents subsidize his expenses.

Elemental007,
I am saying that you most likely will not wear anything but from those mall stores, therefore cost your parents and yourself much more than you have to. unfortunatley, with parents the way they are these days, most of the time they will probably just give in to what their children want and not say, "no, im not spending 60 dollars on a pair of pants and 50 dollars on a sweater."

why not (to quote chris rock) just thank your dad for "knockin' out dis rent" or thanking him for making it easy to read with "all dis light in hea'", instead of having him and your mom always buy you the hottest style and name at (most of the time) highest price?
