256-256, and here I was thinking you were just spitting out numbers.

as a neutral observer, he doesn't seem mad at all, and you actually sound like a douche bag by trying to bring it up and make little jabs in all of your posts.
I didn't "bring" it up, I made a single little jab in one post about it, and was more than happy to leave it at that. Deeko decided to focus on that rather than the real discussion.

Yea I try to keep the win/loss total realistic, but since I don't actually do game-by-game predictions of all 256 games, its likely that these exact records aren't possible - but its close enough for me.

Anyway, the real point of this thread is to discuss the season, during which the Bills will likely be terrible. Care to roll your eyes at that one too?

I think the Bills and Seattle are equally bad, but in defense of the Bills, at least Fitzpatrick has a modicum of talent and an actual brain in his head. I expect Tavaris Jackson to lead the league in suckage this year edging out Cam Newton on TD : INT ratio.

I also think its just as likely that Seattle moves as Buffalo, meaning not likely at all. Jacksonville will be the team thats moved next because nobody cares about sports in Florida. And if they do, its college level.

Seattle is terrible, I considered dropping them as low as 2-14. The only shot they have of brushing close .500 is because they’re in the worst division in the league – they don’t have to play the Patriots and Jets twice a year. The good news is I don't like the Seahawks nor this city, so the woes of its fans generally make me happy.

However, in regards of likelihood of moving, there are numerous reasons why the Seahawks aren't going anywhere. For starters, they are owned by Paul Allen, who is filthy rich and seemingly dedicated to spending that money on this swamp, so he couldn't care less how poorly they do, nor is he 92 years old. Also, while I question the heart of the average Seahawks fan, they are rather narcissistic, and enjoy their reputation as the "12th man", and therefore pack the stands and buy Seahawks crap, even if they don't really care about the team. So, despite being terrible, the team still does well enough in terms of support.

I would agree with you that Jacksonville is the most likely team to move in the near future, but that doesn’t preclude the chance of another moving as well. If Jacksonville moved to, say, L.A., Buffalo could still end up in Toronto. That’s not to say they will – but in terms of likelihood, well, I’d say they’re more likely to do so than the vast majority of the league.

Lives in Seattle and not a SeaChicken fan. For shame.

Raider fan I take it?

I've only lived here for three years, do not confuse me with the offspring of this hippy swamp. Thems fightin words, sir.

I'm originally from southeastern PA, next door to the hometown of the defunct Pottsville Maroons, grew up a Cowboys fan, went to college in downtown Philadelphia (which, I might add, is quite dangerous as a Cowboys fan), now I live in the PNW.

Southeastern PA and you're not an Eagles fan? For shame. 😉

I'd rather be a SeaChicken fan than a CowGirls fan 😛

I'm not from Philly and I did not identify with Philly growing up. I grew up NW from Philly - while technically Philadelphia was still the closest NFL team, go not much farther in several directions and you'll find yourself in NYC or Baltimore, and a lot of people in PA are Steelers fans as well - so there was a healthy mix of fans of different teams, even if the local paper reported on the Eagles.

Also, if you were to read the book I linked to, you'd find that the Maroons' biggest rival was the Eagles' predecessor, the Frankford Yellowjackets, therefore, to be a *true* hometown fan, I should be a fan of the Eagles' biggest rival :sneaky: Also I watched a lot of football as a kid with my Uncle, who is a Cowboys fan, so there ya go.

I've picked the Eagles to go 10-6 a few times, so its not like I always pick them to be terrible, but yes - this is the most bullish I've been on them yet.

I am not sure if that is a revelation or a sure sign of the apocalypse... 😛

Is it time yet to lol @ this?

I like Deeko anyway, but this year seems particuarly hilarious given the context of the 3-0 Bills. I guess if they don't win a single game past this point he would be right 😀 Who knew though.

I don't think there is a single analyst out there - or very many people in Buffalo even - that thought the Bills would be 3-0 right now. Weird stuff happens in the NFL.

On the flip side, quite a few Steelers fans attempted to lol at me for picking Ravens over Steelers, how did that turn out?

Its a long season....a lot can happen between now and December.

Not 3-0 but I knew they would be better than what you said 😛

Besides, they could very easily go 0-13 after this

True, true, picking winners in the NFL is like a combination between voodoo magic and rocket science.

Yeah I thought the Steelers were exposed as an over the hill team at the last SB, this year seems to be proving that fact.

GB and their QB are still looking like beasts though. Aaron Rodgers delivers.

Bump for the lulz. A few accurate guesses, but mostly a bit to hugely off.

Not that I could do any better honestly.

I was starting to think you weren't gonna do your predictions this year, nice to see em 🙂

I think the Giants are going to win the NFC east. Also I think Detroit will beat out Chicago for a wildcard spot. Annnd I still think the Eagles/Vick will have a real disappointing season (not disappointing to me, since I don't like them anyways 😀), but everyone else seems to think they are superbowl bound. Not gonna happen.

All this is still true I think. Not so sure about Detroit because they have to play GB twice, and they're going to lose twice. And stafford gets hurt someway every damn game it seems like. Chicago on the other hand is without a QB but has a fairly easy remaining schedule.

Between picking Dallas to win the Super Bowl every year til now San Diego, the OP should consider the Head Coach before making his predictions.
