Declarative authorization plugins for Rails?

Would like some recommendations. I'm concerned that Declarative Authorization will be too hard for me to figure out. I've heard that CanCanCan is easier to learn. Any other recommendations?

You could check out Pundit instead of CanCan/CanCanCan.
