Decisions decisions... (2) 19" lcd monitors or (1) 20.1" widescreen lcd?

I am thinking if (2) 19" LCDs would be better than (1) 20.1" Dell FP2005. I use my pc to also watch DVDs (currently using a 19" CRT monitor) in addition to some photoshop, web surfing, office, working on some web pages. I only watch my DVDs on my pc - so obviously I want something that looks really good.

I'm holding out until Dell does the LCD monitor special again, also gives me time to do some research. What do you guys thing? I'm looking at spending around $450.

If the specs on the monitors are equivalent, I'd say two 19"s if they have thin bezels (get them really close up side-by-side)...however with your movie watching thing you might want the widescreen. I personally love having dual monitors for the tasks you listed: Photoshop, Web-creation and surfiing all are much cleaner with 2 screens to handle all the various windows, but if your biggest concern is the DVD's the 2005 may be nicer for you. It's basically a choice of which one is more vital to you. Of course, you could always get one 2005 now and come back later and get one for 2x widescreen madness =).

I might do that, and get the 2nd 20.1 inch for myself for christmas 🙂 If not, well at least I'd have one for some nice widescreen fun 🙂
 
I have 2 17" screens at work, and one 20.1" wide screen LCD at home. I miss having two displays, even though the resolution is pretty good on the 20.1" Dell. Hard to explain, but I'm addicted to two screens. 😀 I keep my mail always open on one of them, etc.
