EDIT: Nevermind, I just decided to go ahead with the Gigabyte board!
So this is the motherboard I'm planning on purchasing:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131405
p7p55d-pro. Reasons being it's reasonably affordable, it has 8x8x lines(might crossfire in a couple months), and I believe it's suppose to overclock well enough. I plan on pushing my i5 up, but not to extreme levels.
However, everyone here seems to keep recommending the GigabyteP55A-UD4P, which looks like a nice board. I like Gigabyte boards but can't overlook the fact that it will be over $20 more than the Asus. The giga has: sata 3.0(which i don't need, nor does it seem to be worth it right now), another NIC(which I can do without), and I guess better audio(which doesn't matter to me anyway, i use a soundcard).
I could spend the money to go with the Gigabyte if there is a compelling reason to choose it over the Asus. So what would you do?
