Decided to get back to flight sims - need a new joystick.

Hi,

I got the itch again for the flight sims, but I found out that my old joystick finally gave up. Saitek Cyborg Evo (the vanilla one without force feedback) cought my eye, which seems to be in my price range. I don't want to spend more than 50e on it.

I'd like to know if anyone has any experience of that product, and especially is the force feedback worth the extra buck and/or is the force feedback even usable/good enough worth considering in this price range.

And any other alteratives and recommendations are welcome 🙂

Thanks.

Well, you can't really port Flight Sims to consoles 😉 But I was planning to play more combat sims anyway. I have IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 waiting to be fired up, but it's quite old game. I should start looking for newer ones. but I like WW2 era simulators. there's just something in those planes. I haven't been keeping up with the genre, so I don't have the slightest clue about which are the newest releases and if there are something worthwhile coming up later this year.

oh, And I decided to save 25e and just buy the vanilla version of the Saitek Cyborg Evo (no force feedback). lets see how it works when it gets here.
