Decided to build my own projector screen but not very good with tools :( I would like to build a floor rising projector screen if possible

I can never find the perfect floor rising projector screen so decided to build my own.

Where should I start?

Floor rising as in normally stored away? I don't see this going well.

Fixed frame is orders of magnitude easier.

Here's another vote for fixed frame. Building a floor rising screen would bring a world of hurt.
