There's no way on earth you can get to invoice on the GT-R, especially in California. I've got them at $3K off, which is about as good as I can expect.
Only get the GTR if you can afford to maintain it. It's a cheap entry point to that realm of car, but the tires are pricey and wear out quick, brakes expensive, and I think something with the engine needs checked out every 20k miles.
If you got a 2nd car I don't see the need for the hybrid
I've got $30,000 for a new car. I'm looking at either buying outright a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid or making a downpayment on a 2013 Nissan GT-R.
This is not a troll. I will definitely buy one of these cars, with a minor exception on the Fusion.*
* Unless I get a sweet offer on a 2013 Nissan Altima.
Most DEFINITELY a TROLL
Yup a troll. Who cross shops those two cars?
How much is the troll toll?

When you get older, you most likely won't really want a GT-R...so buy the GT-R.
Someone who is conflicted between practicality and desire.
Yup, you wont always be in a position to make such decisions.
Congrats! Out of curiosity, would you car to discuss the financials? Seems like that payment is going to be a whooper!
Round about $1,130 a month for a 60 month 0% interest loan. He put 30k cash on $98k. Add a couple hundred for interest and you're sitting at about $1,300?
edit: If my math is right, 68k loan balance, and if he got the 3.9% from Nissan, with a 60 month loan, he's lookin at $1,250
edit2: OP you got ripped on those floormats =[
Thats what I saw when I did a load calculator, but was wondering how many months, how much did he end up putting down, trade in, etc.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't put $50 generic mats in a car like that.
Nice car. OP, did you plan on getting the car all along and just wanted to brag about it? Because you really didn't need the pretext, lol.
