I've got $30,000 for a new car. I'm looking at either buying outright a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid or making a downpayment on a 2013 Nissan GT-R.

This is not a troll. I will definitely buy one of these cars, with a minor exception on the Fusion.*

* Unless I get a sweet offer on a 2013 Nissan Altima.

Don't buy more car then you need, it's just a waste of money. As a wise sage (well, a comedian) once said, you could buy the Ford and save lives 😀

Get the GT-R if you can take it to a track. It will shine there. For general driving, especially if you live in a large city, the hybrid makes more sense.

Always get the car with the most power!

Hybrids don't make any sense to me right now. Maybe if there was better battery technology.

i remember being young, wanting to buy crazy cars like that. now i buy practical 4 doors, minivan type cars.

Most DEFINITELY a TROLL

Get both? $25K down on the GT-R and $5K down on the Fusion.

In talking to the salesman, to get the best interest rate possible, I will have to put all $30,000 on the GT-R. I've already negotiated the price on it.

With the Fusion, I would obviously have to wait till it gets released sometime in Oct/Nov.

I voted fusion but you should actually get the GTR to make up for that other thread.

Heh. If you go to page 28 of that thread, I was one of the first to accuse him of being a fake. Then I posted pics of my cars to back everything I said.

lol's. How is this happening. Cross shop a hybrid and a fecking GT-R?? And the price dif is some 50k??? How much is the troll toll?

More than that. 2013 GT-R is around $100k at the cheapest. So try 70k price difference (likely more though)

Because when you have five other cars, you are picking your next one to fill a niche. In my case, it's between a hybrid niche and a supercar niche. Capisce?

I fear this thread is headed in the exact same direction.
