Hi .. I need some recommendations for a decent AGP video card .. not much of a gamer, so I don't need the best .. just something solid and not-slow .. would prefer not to spend much more than $40.

Any recos?

Thanks.

slow fast isn't noticeable on home computer other than during gaming.

ATI Xpert98 8MB here. Shouldn't cost much more than $20 ATI still makes this video card four years after introduction. This is a nice basic video card. It connects my computer to my monitor and 2D graphics is fine, therefore I'm okay with it.

I've had an ATI Xpert 2000 for over a year. The 2D graphics are crisp and good 3D (of course
nowhere near the best). But no driver problems (using Win98SE), and no BSOD...........
I believe Newegg has them for less than $40............Greg

I have a MSI 8808, TNT M64 32MB, video card that works great for most applications running a 17" or less monitor at 10x7 or less resolution.

I bought it a Newegg.com for $38.00 shipped
