does anybody know of a decent ISP that offers unlimited dialup with no software required and no contract? i dont mind paying but i only need to use it for a month until my DSL gets fixed. Most importantly it has to be accept a standard DUN connection so i can use linux and connection sharing in windows. any suggestions?

Check out veiinternet.com. I'm currently using them until OneMain gets their sh!t together, & maybe permanently. So far I've been pleased with them, & they have dialup numbers in VERY unusual locations (Forest Grove, Hillsboro, North Plains for those of you in Oregon... Not to mention the usual Beaverton & Portland).

Straight DUN connections, & good tech support (I called them to see how fast they answered since OneMain was sitting at 30+ minutes).

At home i'm on like my 10th isp. I finally settled with mindspring....it's just simply the best 56k dialup I found. They will probably give you a month free if you ask them(as will most isp's). So you might wanna try that, i dunno about DUN connection, you'll have to call them and ask. :)
