Decent quality portable tabletop FM radio?

I'm looking for a decent tabletop radio for my father for xmas - he likes my Tivoli isongbook, but I had no idea the damn thing was $400. I'm looking for something in the $100-$150 range - I was considering the Tivoli model one or an iPal but they look somewhat dinky next to my songbook

Suggestions? I saw this but have no direct experience with Sangean - other than that they sell stuff at radioshack:

(Sangean WR-2)

The Tivoli model one is nice. It's gone up in price a bit, but it's still better and cheaper than the Blose alternative. The tuner is notable, too.
