These are also available at zipzoomfly for the same price (free shipping) if you can't make it into a Best Buy.

Deal is also available in store.

Anyone have good experiuences with these? I have been generally dissapointed with lightscribe for quality and the time it takes to burn...

Depends on the drive as well as what its personally worth to you.

I usually let it burn 4-5 times. This makes the label VERY dark and very nice looking but it takes approx 27*4 = 108 minutes to complete.

This isn't such a big deal because I just let it go while I do other things and I love the end result. Whereas I would throw away a disc that wasn't labeled these look nice and fit right in with all my other CD's/DVD's.

Keep in mind this is with the "contrast enhancement" software installed which takes the burn time for the label from 20 min to 27 min.

In addition, if you only burn a percentage of the disc space...the disc burn goes much quicker. So, if you just burn a title going around the disc...the burn may only take 15 minutes.

I can get a picture of a sample disc I have made if you would like.

Picked up a USB2 external burner the other day - took quite a lot of software and firmware tweaking to get it to work correctly [kept getting communication time-out errors]. I personally am not impressed with lightscribe and will probably return the drive.

Oh - and thanks for the hot deal OP. :)
