Well, I certainly wouldn't go for such a gaudy case but at least it's not all show and no go. It has some nice internal features. The Z-Alien is mainly sold by A-Top as far as I can tell, but lots of case brands use the same chassis as a basis. The Kingwin 424 series is more my speed.
. Unless Aberdeen has changed their stripes, they operate sort of like a government agency - we'll do it when we get aroound to it and you'd better appreciate it when we do. When you've gotten used to newegg, it's quite a letdown - but then newegg doesn't do any assembly or provide any tech support. Aberdeen has poor reseller ratings as well! Think twice...
. Check out monarchcomputer.com too. They'll assemble and test the parts you order for a small fee. Their prices aren't too much higher than newegg either. Mucho better reseller rating. They are nearer to you for shipping purposes as well (Atlanta area). But they don't carry anything as riced as that Z-Alien. The closest they come to it is the Raidmax (they call it Logisys) aluminum Scorpio - CS668 or the Thermaltake Xaser series. Notice the big squarish "C" stamped into the bottom of the mobo tray on the Z-Alien and some of the others mentioned here? Means it's actually made by Casetek - like most of the better cases you find under a multitude of names including Antec, Chieftec etc.
