decent bands/singers begining with the letter "I"?

so, I'm organizing my CD's this week in preparation of burning them onto my computer, throwing out the jewel cases, and filing them away in sleeves.

while alphabetizing them, I noticed that I have a shitton of B's (Beatles, Bruce Springsteen*), M's (Madonna, Marilyn Manson, Michael Jackson*), and S's (Simon and Garfunkel, Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths) and a pretty even number of everything else...

but only one "I" cd -- the "I Am Sam" soundtrack :hmm: are there any decent bands out there beginning with the letter I?

I only have 1 Z too, but that's a little to be expected. I seems like it would be a much more common letter.




*yes, I know it's technically incorrect to alphabetize by the first name, but mentally, it's easier for me to organize my CD's physically the same way that they're ordered digitally -- and on my computer, it's Music\Bruce Springsteen\(Album Name)\ not Music\Springsteen, Bruce\(Album Name)\

So, you want people to assist you in finding bands starting with the letter "I" simply because you feel that having only one CD with a "I" band is odd? How about just collecting the music you enjoy rather than having some bizarre fixation with having a certain amount of artists alphabetically?

no, it was more answering the question -- do I only have one CD beginning with the letter "I" because there aren't that many I-bands or is it just happenstance?

I have 0 X-cd's, 2 Y-cd's (Yo Yo Ma, Y-100 Acoustic Sessions), and 1 Z-cd (Zwan) but I assume that to be just because there aren't that many X/Y/Z bands.
