A chemical like BG makes would probably work better in the intake or throttle body. When I was talking about the water cleaning, I'm talking about in the cylinder itself. There, the water is a good as anything. Steam. Not going to get steam in the air intake, so likely less effective.

Yea, agree, I also ran a can of Gumout fuel system cleaner after the water treatment. IMHO I think you really can't go wrong if you use a misting bottle set to fine vs stream. Some might argue that not enough water is going to get into the intake using this method but I'd much rather be wrong on the "not enough" side vs risking hydro-lock like that nut-job did on the vid I linked to. I'd consider the transmission fluid as well since that trick has been around forever but IDK how a cat. converter would handle all that much combustion by-product at once and if you happen to foul a plug it SUCKS to remove plugs on the back side of a GM FWD V6, you really have to remove the coil-pack and it's mount to get enough clearance.
