Decaf Coffee

I'm new to brewing coffee at home, I got a new Mr. Coffee machine that will start in the morning before I get Up. What brand decaf coffee is the best? and what is the best way to measure how much to put in the filter, I usually brew enough for 6 cups and put in a thermos for work. Just wondering how to get the best taste.

I make about 5 pots of coffee a day at work. No, it's not all for me! We have a 20-person office and most of us drink coffee. I have about 3 cups a day. Sometimes less, rarely more. For a 12-cup pot, I put 3 full scoops (I believe one plastic scoopful = one tablespoon) So for a 6-cup pot, I'd put in 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 scoops. Good luck. Why decaf? Do you have a heart condition, or does caffiene just weird you out?

You're not one of those freaky Vegan people that only eat veggies and wear burlap clothing, are you? :Q

My Doctor Recommends Decaf because of swollen prostate problems.

How about Brand of Coffee? What is a good brand at a good price?

I drink decaf whenever I can because I don't want the caffeine headaches...I don't want to need the stuff every morning to prevent a headache! I know a few people like this.
