Anyone tried the new x-based Sarge installer? Anything I should look out for or be extra careful while playing around with? (dselect from the woody installer comes to mind)
 
Actually, it was functional last I tried it - maybe 2-3 weeks ago. Ugly, but functional. I certainly hadn't heard that the X11 front end had been worked out though. Is there some evidence that the frontend is anything more than a concept at this point?
 
They've got screenshots of WIP here... I assumed by that that it was at least semi-functional, but I'll probably end up using the text-based one 😉
 
Net install rocks. It also makes me feel happy that the exorbitant fees I pay for my broadband connection are being utilized for a good task.
