Hi.. something is messed with my postfix. When I try to send mail it doesn't go because;

Mar 5 23:54:12 disobey postfix/smtpd[6197]: reject: RCPT from oe35.law3.hotmail.com[209.185.240.203]: 452 Insufficient system stor$
Mar 5 23:54:18 disobey postfix/cleanup[6199]: 085324C9: message-id=<20020306045418.085324C9@mail.disobey.ca>
Mar 5 23:54:18 disobey postfix/cleanup[6199]: warning: 085324C9: write queue file: No space left on device
Mar 5 23:54:18 disobey postfix/cleanup[6199]: warning: 085324C9: skipping further client input
Mar 5 23:54:18 disobey postfix/smtpd[6197]: disconnect from oe35.law3.hotmail.com[209.185.240.203]
Mar 5 23:54:45 disobey postfix/smtpd[6197]: connect from sarai.indymedia.org[207.8.152.244]
Mar 5 23:54:45 disobey postfix/smtpd[6197]: 227284C8: client=sarai.indymedia.org[207.8.152.244]

I have space on my hard drive and I don't have partitions, it's all one big thing.

disobey:/var/log# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 2.2G 2.0G 178M 92% /

That should be okay no?
Please help, thank you.

Nope. Just small <1 meg emails mostly, plain text and stuff.. no attachments or anything.
I'm the only one who uses that mail server, so I hope it's not too small .. I know it's a small hard drive too and i know it has very little room left, but that will change once I have the time to rebuild that box on a 30 gig hard drive.
It shouldn't be a problem if I'm the only active mail account right?

What do I have to clear to get rid of this? I have had less space available on that drive and still had mail working.

Unfortunately I dont know much about postfix so Im not familiar with those errors, Id check out their mailing list though to see if anyone else is experiencing those problems.

EDIT: Im also biased against postfix :p

Make sure you have free inodes with 'df -i', if you're using a filesystem like ext[23] that allocates them at mkfs time it's easy to run out.

You could always try sending mail through your ISP rather than your own mail server.. At least temporarily until you get a new hard drive installed.
