There you go.I guess it's dangerous trying to control a motorcycle while transporting boxes of restricted vinegar across state lines.

This is first time since I last touched the computer. I don't know when I last posted. I think was after the 2nd trip to the Hospital. It was touch and go, my lungs filled with fluid. They said I could die from pnuemonia, I managed to cough up most of it last night all night long until about 4:30 in the morning.
Then I got some sleep and had breakfast.
I have not gone to the bathroom since Monday.
My sister has been pumping me full of Senecot that she just gave me the last four pills in the bottle.
She just left to get Prune juice and whatever else there is out there to get me to go. My stomach is as hard and big as a basketball.
debi is sleeping pretty soundly.
What antibiotics are you on? Those are probably the root of your GI disturbances, though they usually err on the side of diarrhea...
Also, high dosing laxatives is never a good idea, they can do more good than harm.
😵Holy crap, that's rough! Hope you and Debi make a speedy and full recovery, my friend.
I ride to work probably half the time. It's exhilarating, and even though scarcely a week goes by without some idiot pulling out in front of me or running me out of my lane I consider it an acceptable risk as we no longer have minor kids. I do NOT however ever ride without a full face helmet and gloves. I struck a dog in '91 or '92 and went down hard, breaking my collar bone and breaking the rotator ball off my shoulder, so I spent eight weeks sleeping in a chair. BUT - although my gloves were trashed and the jaw of my helmet was ground away through the gel coat, my hands and face were merely bruised a bit. Full face helmets are hot and cut your peripheral vision a bit, but in my opinion those are minor trade-offs for the safety.
I've also struck three dogs, flipped a bike and crushed my foot, been run into a ditch twice and made numerous near-panic stops and UDPs (unscheduled departures from pavement) due to inattentive and/or just downright stupid drivers, and it's still worth it. Just maintain total situational awareness and drive defensively, 'cause people are stupid and roads are dangerous.
Best wishes, dude, and my best to Debi.
Made it back to Chicago around 10:30 last night. Had to stop in Tennessee due to gas leak. I knew something was wrong, I was only getting about 10 miles per gallon. Found split fuel line, took me about 2 hrs to fix after I was covered head to toe in gas from it spraying (system is under high pressure). Drove the rest of the way smelling like gas but we made it.
