I'm not sure with some of the terminology with this cell phone technology.

The Nokia 8265 has

Whats the difference between the "technology" and "mode?"

Keeping my reception is important. How do are Nokia's Internal antennas?

I think the Nokia 8390 looks cooler, but some reviews say its extremely small. Which could have some disadvantages to it, I don't wanna lose the thing 😛.

I live in the Kissimmee/Orlando Area.

Any other comments or recommendations on cell phones? Anything I should keep in mind before purchasing a cell phone?

AT&T is moving away from the TDMA Network and going with GSM. Most of the world is using GSM and other major US carriers are already GSM. I have a 6590 and like it a lot. I'd find out how the GSM coverage is in your area before I get it.
