Debating getting another bike

When I bought my house I sold my half working 1991 Kawasaki 500 EX. Did not want to transport it and was time to stop driving on my permit

So now that winter is coming to an end (hopefully) debating getting a newer bike. Thinking a slower bike say Ninja 250/300.

The father in me says to get a sports car, at least a "cage" to protect me from other drivers on the road.

If you have to ask.....get a sports car. I love riding, can't wait to take the bike out in a few week.

I just took my sv650n out today for the first time this year. Loved it.

As a father, I decided against the sports car.
I got a big fat life insurance policy and kept the bike.
I only take it out in the wee hours of the morning on weekends. As soon as other traffic pops up on the road I bring it home.

Meh, if you can afford it I say ride. Doesn't mean you have to be reckless. There is such thing as riding safely and responsibly. Any particular reason you're looking at a slower bike?
