The low 3 series are always debadged. You already drive a bimmer, stop trying to make people think you driver a better bimmer.

Why should you care what other people think? Or did you get the car because of the way people think when they see a bmw?

I guess if people can't spot the hood tumor they don't deserve the chance to rev at you.

it's super easy to tell the difference between a 330 and 325 at least for that year. the color of the trim above the license plate, and the trim around the windows. you ain't gonna fool no one except idiots.

I'm not sure what some of you are smoking.

I'm not trying to fool anyone, so try to get that through your heads. I'm not going to be putting a different emblem on it. And yes, I will put it back on when I resell.

Amazing grammar, I applaud you.

You sound like a complete jackass.

Read OP.

People who can't tell the difference between a 2002 325 and a 2002 330 based on the color of the trim around the license plate and windows are idiots?

Thats weird. Thats exactly what I think when I see it on a civic or something, but not at all when I see it on a BMW/Audi, etc

Yes, because there's SUCH A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE between the DX and EX versions.

I think he is. Its hard to tell b/w a M3 and a regular 3 series already- except for the M3 badge and grill on the side fenders.

If you look from the front or back, you would really have to examine the vehicle closely just to know the trim difference (without its badge).

OP: do whatever you want, its your money and its your car. WHO GIVES A SH*T what people think or what this forum think- at least you are not annoying everyone by installing some stupid mods and 10000000k HIDzzzzz

I never really liked the way debadging a car made it look. Regardless if it's a japanese, domestic, or german car, it always seems to look cheapish and ricey to me.

I don't know about that. I had a Toyota Tundra for a few years and didn't like the giant badges they had on it so I debadged it. All it had on the tailgate was V8. Looked much better IMO.

I debadge all my cars. It makes for a sleeker look, and it is easier to clean instead of having to get in between the letters and numbers and open symbols.
Don't worry what other people think or say about it, most people on here think their car is an extension of their penis.

debadging screams either (1) the owner is very concerned with others' opinions of his car or (2) the owner is obsessed with every last detail of his car. in both case I think the owner is a douche.

do it.

people in this thread who are saying only posers do it have no clue what a clean car looks like or the reasoning behind it, especially a european car. debadging of euro cars always looks sleek. it has nothing to do with "tricking people into thinking I have a better model car"
