And um, that's not Chet's creation. I saw that in an issue of Maxim before, which was previously taken from other rat/mouse methods of killing. :p

Mousetraps work pretty good. You know, the old standard kind with a peice of cheese.

Tried, tested & true.

One time I found a mouse in a trap at a house we lived in while in school. His head was squished under the bar and his little beady eyeball was puffed out to insane proportions. It was kinda funny.

._0 < kinda like that.

I shall pass that along to Chet. He calls it his "Adirondack" method.

BTW, Chet caught one 2 nights ago (first night the trap was out) ... struck out last night, though.

One of my cats is a great mouser. Takes her a while, though, since she just bats them around until they die.

$1 for that cheese shaped box of mouse/rat poison at your local grocery store works just as well.

perhaps better sanitation would not require the killing of another creature.

I guess that's a little hard to grasp though.

It be funny as hell if one day at the grocery store a similar human sized device was used.

the place is pretty sanitized .. there's no food out.

i think the problem is that we have a raised floor, so who knows what's underneath.

facilities has live traps, but they just put them outside for them to come right back in again. and i don't think a few less mice in the world is going to hurt anything.

mice != people

Killing Mice ... Nothing wrong with that
Killing People ... BAD.

There is a big difference.

So...you hate meeces to pieces? :p

Good luck getting rid of them. At my highschool, we had a few "trailer rooms" out back because the ran of of classrooms in the building itself; I had a history course out there my senior year. We were sitting in class one day, in the middle of a lecture, when everybody hears this loud *SNAP!" The students all fell silent, and my professors up in the front of the room doing a little jig - "YES! I got one!" :p

so the basis of being able to freely kill something is a != people statement.

I seriously think killing of anything living for no purpose or killing something when it could be avoided is wrong.

Perhaps there are additional complications and factors that I did not take into consideration. However, when it comes to rodents like mice, A agree it would be better to try to keep them out in the first place, however, since they are infesting the place, it's too late to just keep them out, the best current course of action is to kill them.
