Well that's it, they've now stopped me from thinking they each deserved anything other than a slow and tortuous death, filmed for a live TV audience.

The video of that dog being killed by chemical weapons was the last straw. I hope they crucify every last one of them.

Obviously the 9/11 thing can't be compared to that, but....well....ARGHGHGHGHGHHHHH! DIE YOU IDIOTS!

Killing a dog is what convinced you?

What about the two tower thing almost a year ago?

You probably heard about it, I think it made the front page here.

The Gassed Dog on CNN. From Whatreallyhappened.com:

"This is the purest war propaganda. One video of what may be Osama bin Laden plus a video of a dog being gassed which could have been created anywhere equals the US sinking to new lows trying to manufacture support for a war nobody but the oil companies want. This dog-video reminds me of Hill & Knowlton's much ballyhooed claim that Iraqi troops were stealing incubators from Kuwait hospitals and leaving premature babies to die on the floor. That was a hoax to sell a war. And until proven otherwise, the safest course is to assume this latest "shock video" is just another hoax by the public relations firms which grow rich and fat off of your tax dollars by lying to you for the US Government. Anonymous US officials have declared this to be "unquestionable" evidence that al Qaeda has chemical weapons. I find it very questionable. For one thing, compare the quality of the dog video with that of the famous Osama "confession" tape or even the most recent Osama tape. Why does a dog get much better video quality than the boss? Add to that the cuteness of the dog, as if intentionally selected by central casting to provoke the greatest feelings of sympathy in the viewer, instead of just grabbing any old mangy stray mongrel to use in such a test. "

It's good to see the PR Company the US Government hired is at least making this whole war agenda work. I'd be worried if they didn't.

And I'm sure lots of people I've met and will meet have done some things I'd consider horrible. However, until something is proven to me (ie. Shown to me) it's a bit fruitless to go assuming things.

When the US government comes out with it's new Ultra Raygun and shows a video of them blowing up a dog with it, well then I'll be angry at them too.

The Gassed Dog on CNN. From Whatreallyhappened.com:
Hmmm.....CNN or Whatreallhapppened.com......hmmm....who do I trust? I mean really.....which is the more reputable news source?

This sentence right here

One video of what may be Osama bin Laden plus a video of a dog being gassed which could have been created anywhere equals the US sinking to new lows trying to manufacture support for a war nobody but the oil companies want.
tells me all I need to know about their unbiased reporting and where their agenda lies.

There is video of a plane crashing into the world trade center. did you see that one? A video of a dog being killed affected you more than thousands of civilians in our own country?

That is pretty sad. sad indeed.

The least of our worries? I'm not worried about Al Queda, I just think that that video was disgusting and it annoyed me.

Also, regarding it being propaganda. It's funny that that should be brought up cause even as I was watching the video it occured to me that the dog was A) Cute and B) In a good quality video.

Weird.

I think I am going fish in the couch for a few bucks and buy the following domain:

http://www.whatreallTRULYhappened.com

Then I contribute my own little piece of propoganda and misinformation to 'internet journalism'! And I don't even have to know sh!t about HTML (judging by most of these 'news' sites). Yay!

Was I ready for annhilation of them after 9/11? === YES!

Was I ready for video of them being annihilated slowly perferably via chemical weapons after the dog video === YES!

Hence the last straw thing.

jeez,

This has got to be the most blatant form of propoganda possible.

Sad part is I fear our government really does think people are that stupid. Sometimes I agree.

I support the war, but this is unbelievable. And so what if they did test on dogs, what else you gonna use?

I'm a dogowner and a dog lover. But placing this on the front-page of CNN is NOTHING but a propoganda move to bolster support for the impending war. Essentially what is being shown is a low-budget version of laboratory animal tests, the likes of which have obviously performed by the US at some point. In fact, if we were to show "video" of the thousands of animals gassed, bled, and crashed for the sake of U.S military intelligence, the Afghani video would so completely pale in comparison.

Edit: Astaroth has a link for you marlboro men.

I didn't see the video, but know I wouldn't have liked it.

However it can't be anything compared to the animal cruelty that goes on in the US by pharmaceuticals and other industries, in the name of "research" to help "save lives"...and its not just mice, but monkeys and so on.

Also the legalized cruelty to farm animals, keeping them in tight stocks where they can hardly move, even when they're pregnant. Its disgusting.

To whine about a dog that gets a quick albeit painful death is naive.

You're right. Let's release the cows and chickens into the wild where they can roam free with the predators and wildfires, the way nature intended.
