Death Race

Just watched death race, its a pretty meh movie, but some of the action sequence was pretty good. all those guns on the cars are just ridiculous. plus the latina chick is kind of smoking hot.

pretty good pointless action flick, beats transporter 2 if you ask me.

My dad wanted to see it so I went with him. I didn't regret it as much as I expected.

The hottie didn't hurt.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the race sequences was Mario Kart. Where else do you drive over a power up to get weapons?

in Death Race there are spots you have to drive over to get weapons?
how the hell does that work?

The cars are equiped with weapons but you have to drive over the powerup to have them activated.

haha yeah exactly, but instead of shells and bananas, you get 30 cal mini guns, or triple linked m60s. one thing i didnt understand was how some cars are obviously loaded with weapons and some would have like 1 gun. but i suppose i am trying to make sense of a movie where people drive cars with guns in a race.

The original was much better. Not only was it a lot more action-packed, but it had a better plot and more tits.

I saw the original which was awesome. Have not seen the remake yet. I probably will though because I am huge fan of the Carmageddon games which is based off of the original film.

no way! transporter 1,2,3 an were pretty good for car movies IMO...no james bond of course, but they were not meant to be James Bond flicks.

no way! transporter 1,2,3 an were pretty good for car movies IMO...no james bond of course, but they were not meant to be James Bond flicks.

i thought transporter 2 was pretty awful. that was so unreasonable in terms of the stunts, even worse than death race.

From what I've read, the took the original idea, said "lets to a remake" and basically only kept the title.

anybody else think "the dreadnaught" from death race looks kind of like a more heavily armed dead reckoning from land of the dead? i mean shit, that car was awesome. except the dreadnaught has a 105mm tank cannon mounted on the back. that was insane.

Meh, I've seen a Stryker with a Howitzer on it, and it was real. I've also fired a remote control .50 cal.

That movie was flat out horrible from start to finish.
