"South Carolina's Senate voted 38-4 to allow the death penalty for sex offenders convicted a second time of raping children younger than 11. Oklahoma lawmakers are considering a similar bill."
Like most of the 38 states allowing capital punishment, South Carolina and Oklahoma reserve the death penalty for murderers. "
There's the 3 strikes and you get life law in California. (unless it's been overturned???)
If you're a repeat violent offender, you're obviously not reformed after being convicted for a 3rd time for, say, aggravated assault. But why should the tax payers $$ be spent to house them, feed them, provide medical, etc for the next 40+ yrs?
Why not 3 strikes and you're dead?
