death of a monitor (help requested)

not sure that there's anything to be done, but:

have a Samsung 151s LCD monitor. Five months old. Was doing just fine, then all of the sudden doesn't behave: when booting up, will flash the appropriate screen then fade to blue-ish/grey-ish.

it's not the video card, it's not the computer, it's not the connection. only option is RMA?

I haven't seen it before, but if it's only 5 months old, it shouldn't do that.
