Just a quick thought along these lines, how many times have any of you nearly died, or had a close call with death, or even a supernatural experience with death? Because I have experienced all 3 before, numerous times.

If you never had any close calls with death, then your ability to see inside yourself and what lies beyond is also more limited and can also effect your spiritual outlook. Especially so if you are a younger soul.

The nervous expression of laughter as a response is telling. If you were here while we were discussing this, face to face, you certainly wouldn't be so easily entertained, and you would be a lot more uncomfortable with your no life after death viewpoint. Let's just say that older souls can probably show younger souls a thing or to if they choose to that would change their minds about life after death.

Yes, it's true.

But then again, there are a lot of truths out there that are often hidden to most people, because they aren't even bothering to look for truth in the first place.

I almost drowned as a teenager and the result shortly afterward was I quit being a practicing Catholic. To this day I vividly remember what happened and I never talk about the specifics with anyone as it was my experience to have. In my opinion when it's over, it's over and there's nothing wrong with that.

It's the nature of the universe, nothing is forever.

Yea. Its like the concept of impermanence from Buddhism.

The only way a self can handle eternity is in oblivion. Imagine how bored u would be at 5 billion years old? Now imagine that time running forever? No it makes no sense. Now living longer, that is something I wish.

I love how confident you are in your belief. Tell me, where did you learn about this?
